Riviera Maya, México

A natural paradise in the Mexican Caribbean

The Mexican Caribbean coastline spans more than 120 km (75 miles), running from Puerto Morelos to Punta Allen in the state of Quintana Roo, which is part of the Yucatán Peninsula.
The Riviera Maya is considered one of the tourist destinations that have undergone the most phenomenal growth over the last decade. In this diversified area, one can relax in luxurious resorts nestled deep in the tropical forest, enjoying a myriad of restful and entertaining activities on their golf courses, in exclusive spas or on white-sand beaches. All this and more can be found at the Grand Coral Riviera Maya Resort & Spa, where you’ll be able to purchase your new condominium, soak up the sun and enjoy all types of aquatic activities.

puerto-morelos-mexico Puerto Morelos: A small fishing village, considered the gateway to the Riviera Maya, located 15 minutes south of Cancún International Airport. Just off the shores of Puerto Morelos are the extraordinarily beautiful coral formations that make up the second-largest coral reef barrier in the world.
playadelcarmen-realestate Playa del Carmen: The governmental center of the municipality (similar to a county) of Solidaridad, Quintana Roo; its main activity is tourism. Playa del Carmen is the largest and most cosmopolitan city in the Riviera Maya. Thanks to its natural beauty and the variety of attractions and services offered, it has received international acclaim.
tulum-mexico- Tulum: An archeological zone of majestic beauty, located on a bluff overlooking the shores of the Mexican Caribbean, bathed by its sparkling turquoise-blue waters. In pre-Hispanic times, Tulum was a trading port and it is the only walled Maya city.
punta_allen-mexicancaribbean Punta Allen: Located 50 km (31 miles) south of the city of Tulum, this fishermen’s hamlet is nestled within the ecological reserve of the Sian Ka’an Biosphere, which makes it a fascinating place of great natural beauty. Currently, Punta Allen is considered the southern tip of the Riviera Maya.

The Riviera Maya was created as a tourist destination in 1999. Since then, the Riviera Maya has become the most important tourist destination in Mexico, along with Cancún, and both of them are among the most visited worldwide.
